Frequently asked questions

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a proven, safe and effective medical treatment which is over 2,000 years old. It is a non-invasive method which uses the insertion of thin, sterile needles at specific acupuncture points to successfully help millions of people become and remain healthy.

Acupuncture looks at each individual as a whole person. It addresses the root cause of illness not only the symptom.

If two people were to come in with the same ailment, there would likely be two different treatment protocols used because it addresses underlying causes as well as each patient’s specific constitution.
